SOLDIER is a group of skilled combat operatives within the Shinra Electric Power Company. The elite within the group — those strong enough to be deemed SOLDIER 1st Class — are respected and idolized by the citizenry. Rioneru is a young SOLDIER 2nd Class who aspires to become a 1st. He was once part of Dr Hojo's "Mako Fusion Experiment with SOLDIER" and the results turned out well, giving him skills far superior than a standard SOLDIER Operative. Somehow, Rioneru doesn't seem to remember his past, also, everyone knows little about him. Now and then, pieces of his memory flash themselves in his mind. Being a quiet person, he rarely speaks to people he isn't familiar with. His combat skills are excellent for a SOLDIER Operative of his age. "One day I'm sure you'll make it to become a 1st Class SOLDIER, I have faith in you!" his mentor always tells him, keeping him motivated to be the best in life. He now spends his days carrying out assignments under the guidance of his female 1st Class mentor. Rioneru is usually seen wearing a standard SOLDIER uniform. He has black and long spiky hair.
